Monica Kidd nominated for Alberta Literary Award

The nominees for this year’s Alberta Literary Awards were announced this week and I’m very pleased to see a novel I edited, Monica Kidd’s The Crane, published by Breakwater Books, shortlisted for this year’s City of Calgary W. O. Mitchell Book Prize. The other two nominees for the prize are Marcello di Cintio’s Precarious and Skylar Kay’s There’s Magic Here Too. Congrats, Monica! The winners will be named on June 5.
